Hi!

I’m Carolin.

I grew up in a small town in the south of Germany, from where I started traveling the world after graduating from high school.

Early on, I discovered my passion for languages, and when I had to choose a career, I decided to study German as a Foreign Language in order to teach it to people from all over the world.

Today, I’m an online German teacher and a digital nomad who carries her office around the world in her backpack. 

During my bachelor’s and master’s studies I learned a lot about neuroscience, efficient language learning, psychology of learning and brain functions.

Today, this knowledge is an essential part of my teaching style.

My experience

  • bachelor’s degree (2016) and master’s degree (2020) in German as a Foreign Language

  • taught 2000+ lessons in several countries such as Germany, Indonesia, and Colombia, and online with students from all over the world – Europe, America, Australia, and Asia

  • intense study on neuroscience, learning psychology, and brain-friendly language learning

My method

The method I apply is pretty simple. It’s based on neuroscience facts and therefore the closest to our natural form of learning.

In my classes, you are going to:

  • find out your dominant sensory channel (auditory, visual, kinesthetic, communicative, structured)
  • learn topic-oriented in a context
  • connect the content with your personal life
  • learn with structure
  • find yourself in a relaxed, fearless, open-minded atmosphere
  • have fun
  • practice regularly
  • become autonomous and responsible about your learning process
